In a recent development, a new committee has emerged in Cheney, led by founder Zachary Zorruzua.

The primary objective of the Committee for Support of Good Schools is to rally community support for the Cheney School District’s upcoming ballot measures—a levy and two bonds slated for February.

Zorruzua clarified that the levy’s primary focus is to sustain current educational programs at Cheney Schools, encompassing extracurriculars, clubs, and special education support.
